A strong , independent and knowledgeable council can make a significant difference in the performance of any union. Our rules and guidelines should emphasize on the qualities of strengh of character, an inquiring and an independent mind, practical wisdom and mature jugement. It is certainly not an accident that we put "strengh of character" first. Like any successful union, we must have a council who start and stand for what is right, who do not have hidden agendas, and who is strive to make jugments about what is best for the union and Niger in general.
We need council members whose active participation improves the quality of our decisions.
Finally , we look for individuals who have mature judgement this means individuals who are thoughful and rigorous in what they say and and decide.
In the hope that many of you will be interested in joining the council , I wish all of you a great weekend.
